Important installation and safety information: This inverter must not be tied to the utility power grid — do not connect the AC output to mains supply. Both AC output conductors are live; there is no grounded neutral reference, so neither output should be used as a ground. Install the inverter directly to the load and avoid placing an air switch or leakage protection device between the inverter and the load. Putting protection devices in the middle can fail to protect and may damage the inverter. Note that the battery feeding the inverter can deliver energy beyond the instantaneous consumption of connected equipment — handle accordingly. For DC wiring, keep the cable run from battery to inverter as short as possible and use the original wiring when available. If you must extend the battery cable, use wire with approximately double the original diameter and restrict the extension to no more than 1 meter to avoid voltage drop and insufficient input current. The inverter’s capacity for pure inductive loads is 95%.
