Important safety and installation notes: This inverter must never be tied into the utility grid or connected to mains supply; do not contact the AC output with house wiring. The battery paired with the inverter may be capable of supplying more power than the connected device actually consumes. Both output conductors from the inverter are live — there is no earth/ground reference on the outputs, so do not use either output conductor as a grounding conductor. Connect the inverter directly to the load; do not insert any air switch, circuit breaker or leakage-protection device between the inverter and the load. Installing such protection devices in-line will not provide the intended protection and can damage the inverter. The inverter’s pure inductive load capability is 95%. DC wiring requirements: the battery-to-inverter wiring must be kept short and of adequate thickness because DC output current is high. Use the original battery cabling from the battery terminal to the inverter whenever possible. If you must extend the battery cable, the extension wire’s diameter must be doubled compared with the original cable, and the total extension length is recommended not to exceed 1 meter to avoid voltage drop and insufficient input current/voltage.
