Important safety and installation notes: - This inverter must never be tied into the utility power grid and the AC output conductors must not be contacted or used as a connection to mains. Do not connect any part of the inverter AC output to the public grid. - Both AC output conductors from the inverter are live. There is no separate ground/neutral provided — do not use either output conductor as a ground wire. - Connect the inverter directly to your load. Do not insert an air switch or leakage/protection switch between the inverter and the load. Installing such devices in-line will not provide protection and can damage the inverter. Battery and DC wiring requirements: - The DC feed from the battery carries very high current. Avoid lengthening the battery cable; use the original wiring from the battery terminal to the inverter whenever possible. - If you must extend the battery cable, the replacement wire diameter must be roughly doubled compared to the original cable size to handle the current and prevent voltage drop. Unauthorized or undersized extensions can cause insufficient input current/voltage. - For safety and performance reasons it is recommended that any extension not exceed 1 meter. Performance note: - For pure inductive loads the pure sine wave inverter operates at 95% capacity. Additional reminder: - The battery supplied with the inverter can provide more energy than the device’s actual power consumption. Ensure wiring and connections are sized and installed correctly to handle the available power.
