Important safety and wiring notes for use: This inverter is not designed for connection to the utility power grid — do not tie it into mains supply, and avoid touching the AC output conductors. Both AC output lines are live (hot); there is no grounded neutral provided, so do not attempt to use either output as a ground conductor. Connect the inverter directly to your load; do not place an air switch or leakage (RCD/GFCI) protection device between the inverter and the load. Installing such protection in-line may not only fail to protect equipment but can also damage the inverter. The battery paired with the inverter can supply more energy than the instantaneous consumption of the connected device. Because DC output currents from the battery can be very high, do not lengthen the battery cabling without changing the wire size. Use the original battery-to-inverter wiring whenever possible; unauthorized extensions can cause excessive voltage drop and insufficient input current. If an extension is unavoidable, the conductor diameter must be approximately twice the original cable thickness, and the recommended maximum extension length is 1 meter. Note: the pure sine inverter’s capacity for pure inductive loads is 95%.
