Important installation and safety notes: This inverter must not be tied into the utility power grid. Avoid touching the AC output conductors while the unit is energized. The battery connected to the inverter can deliver more energy than the appliance’s actual consumption, so take appropriate precautions. Both AC output conductors are live (hot) — there is no separate grounded output; do not use either output conductor as a grounding connection. Do not insert a circuit breaker, residual-current device (leakage protection), or similar switch between the inverter and the load. Installing such protective devices in-line can fail to provide protection and may damage the inverter. Wiring and battery cable guidance: The DC battery feed requires appropriately heavy cable; do not extend the battery wiring with thin or undersized conductors. Use the original cable from the battery outlet to the inverter whenever possible. Unauthorized or excessive line extension can cause voltage drop and insufficient input current/voltage. If an extension is unavoidable, the extension conductor’s diameter must be at least twice that of the original cable. It is recommended that the battery-to-inverter cable length not exceed 1 meter.
