Make sure the battery voltage matches the inverter’s DC input before wiring (for instance, use a 12V inverter with a 12V battery). Observe battery polarity and connect positive and negative correctly. Use the following estimate for run time: H (working time) = U (voltage volts) × I (battery capacity) × 0.8 × 0.9 ÷ electrical power. Important precautions: 1. Do not connect the inverter to the mains power grid. Never touch the AC output conductors with your hands. Be aware that a battery paired with this inverter can supply more power than the attached appliance requires. If you extend the battery cable, the corresponding wire diameter must be doubled. 2. Both output conductors from the inverter are live—there is no earth/ground reference. Do not use either output conductor as a ground wire. 3. Connect the inverter directly to your load.
