The Pure Resonance Audio S6.1 features an IP65-rated enclosure (when properly installed), UV protection and a tough ABS housing to resist dust, water and long-term sun exposure. Its streamlined, modern cabinet blends discreetly into contemporary environments. Audio performance comes from a 6.5" graphite woofer and 1" silk soft dome tweeter, augmented by OBE (Optimal Bass Enhancement) radiator technology for stronger low-end. The speaker offers a 70Hz - 20kHz full-range frequency response, 40-watts power handling and 87 dB SPL sensitivity with reduced distortion, wider bandwidth and improved transient response. A built-in 70 Volt/100 Volt tap transformer with an 8-ohm bypass selector is protected beneath a rear cover alongside the Phoenix Euroblock screw terminal connector for secure, weather-resistant wiring. Supplied with a water-proof surface mounting bracket, the S6.1 installs quickly for horizontal or vertical placement on walls, under awnings or overhangs and is well suited to foreground/background music, paging, announcements and general-purpose commercial sound.
