Its 5 layers include a silicone contact layer that adheres to dry skin without sticking to a moist wound, a foam core that absorbs up to 15 times its capacity in wound fluid, an SAF layer that locks in fluid, and a nonwoven layer that disperses exudate.

The waterproof, breathable PU film forms a liquid barrier while allowing oxygen and water vapor through. The dressing cushions the wound and is intended for moderately to heavily draining wounds, including sacral bedsores at stages 1-4, pressure ulcers, neuropathic and arterial ulcers, and skin tears. It can also be used as a first-aid pad for burns, postoperative wounds, and abrasions.
