Designed for demanding photo and video work, this monopod is built from 10-layer carbon fiber tubing to deliver superior stiffness, strength, and vibration resistance. Key structural components are CNC-machined from aluminum alloy and finished with anodizing for enhanced durability and corrosion protection. Despite its robust construction, the monopod weighs only 1.1 lb (480g), making it well suited for run-and-gun shooting and travel. Compact when stowed and tall when extended, the 5-section twist-lock leg system collapses to 18.5 inches and extends to 66.9 inches for overhead, tracking, or long-telephoto use. The largest tube measures 1.28 inches in diameter to provide excellent torsional stability. Handling features include a comfortable foam grip and a safety wrist strap, while the interchangeable rubber foot and steel spike give secure footing on a variety of surfaces. Load-bearing capacity is engineered for heavy camera setups: the monopod supports up to 26 lb (12 kg). The mounting platform accepts both 1/4" and 3/8" threads for broad compatibility with heads and camera plates. An included ball head adds full functionality—360° panning, tilt control and a U-notch for quick vertical orientation—making it easy to switch between stills and video workflows. The supplied ball head is precision CNC-machined from aluminum and rated for 17.6 lb. It features fine-tune damping to prevent sudden drops, dual bubble levels for fast leveling, and indexed base markings to aid in repeatable panoramic shots. When the monopod and ball head are used together the combined load capacity is 30 lb. (13.6 Kg). Compatible with Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 and other camera systems that use standard mounting threads.
