CNC-machined aluminum alloy hardware and an anodized finish add durability and corrosion resistance while keeping the unit light at just 1.1 lb (480g). The five-section twist-lock leg system collapses to 18.5 inches for travel and extends to 66.9 inches for overhead or long-telephoto use without compromising setup speed. Designed to hold heavy camera setups, the monopod supports a 26 lb (12 kg) load; its 1.28-inch maximum tube diameter provides strong torsional stability. Comfort and control features include a foam grip, safety wrist strap, and an interchangeable rubber foot and steel spike for secure footing on varied terrain. The top platform accepts both 1/4" and 3/8" threads to work with a wide range of gear; attach the supplied ball head to gain 360° panning, tilt control, and a U-notch for quick vertical framing. The precision ball head is CNC-machined, rated for 17.6 lb, includes fine-tune damping to prevent sudden drops, dual bubble levels for fast leveling, and indexed base markings for repeatable panoramas. When the monopod and ball head are used together the combined load capacity is 30 lb. (13.6 Kg).
