The five-section twist-lock leg system allows fast, secure setup and breakdown in the field. Rated to carry 26 lb (12 kg), the 1.28-inch maximum tube diameter provides strong torsional stability for DSLR and mirrorless bodies with large lenses; user comfort and control are aided by a foam grip and a safety wrist strap. Traction is handled with an interchangeable rubber foot and steel spike so the monopod adapts to pavement, dirt, and other surfaces. The mounting platform accepts both 1/4" and 3/8" threads for wide accessory compatibility, and you can use the unit as a minimal stand or add the supplied ball head for expanded control. The included ball head is CNC-machined aluminum, supports 17.6 lb, offers 360° panning, tilt adjustment, a U-notch for quick vertical orientation, fine-tune damping to prevent sudden drops, dual bubble levels, and indexed base markings for repeatable panoramas. When the monopod is used together with the ball head the combined load capacity is 30 lb. (13.6 Kg).
