The unit weighs just 1.1 lb (480g) yet provides a very rigid platform ideal for run-and-gun shooting or travel. Compact when stored, the monopod collapses to 18.5 inches and extends to 66.9 inches via a 5-section twist-lock system for fast setup and breakdown. Its 1.28-inch maximum tube diameter and 26 lb (12 kg) payload capacity deliver strong torsional stability for DSLR and mirrorless bodies with heavy telephoto lenses. Comfort and secure handling come from a foam grip, safety wrist strap, and the included interchangeable rubber foot and steel spike for traction on different surfaces. The mounting plate accepts both 1/4" and 3/8" threads so you can use a minimalist mounting or attach the supplied ball head for full 360° panning, tilt control and a U-notch for quick vertical framing. The premium ball head features a CNC-machined aluminum body, fine-tune damping to prevent sudden drops, dual bubble levels and indexed base markings for repeatable panoramas, and supports 17.6 lb. When the monopod is used together with the ball head the combined load capacity is 30 lb. (13.6 Kg).
