CNC-machined aluminum alloy components and an anodized finish add durability and corrosion resistance, while the whole unit weighs only 1.1 lb (480g) for easy transport. Designed to collapse to 18.5 inches and extend to 66.9 inches, it provides mobile reach without excess bulk. A 5-section twist-lock leg system allows quick setup and secure height locking, and the 1.28-inch maximum tube diameter gives excellent torsional stability for long lenses. Despite its light weight, the monopod supports a 26 lb (12 kg) load and includes a comfortable foam grip, safety wrist strap, plus an interchangeable rubber foot and steel spike for traction on varied surfaces. The mounting platform accepts both 1/4" and 3/8" threads to work with a wide range of camera gear; use the monopod alone for a minimalist rig or attach the supplied ball head for expanded control. The included ball head features a precision CNC-machined aluminum body, a 17.6 lb load capacity, fine-tune damping to prevent sudden drops, dual bubble levels for fast leveling, indexed base markings for repeatable panoramas, 360° panning, tilt adjustment, and a U-notch for quick vertical orientation. When used together, the monopod and ball head provide a combined load capacity of 30 lb. (13.6 Kg).
