CNC-machined aluminum alloy hardware and an anodized finish add durability and corrosion resistance while keeping the overall weight to just 1.1 lb (480g). Highly portable, it collapses to 18.5 inches for travel and extends to 66.9 inches when you need extra reach for overhead shots, stable tracking, or long-telephoto work. The 5-section twist-lock leg system enables quick, secure deployment and packing. Despite its light weight the monopod supports a 26 lb (12 kg) load. A 1.28-inch maximum tube diameter provides strong torsional stability; comfort and handling are enhanced by a foam grip and safety wrist strap. For traction on varied terrain you get an interchangeable rubber foot and steel spike. The top platform accepts both 1/4" and 3/8" threads for broad compatibility. Mount the included ball head to gain 360° panning, tilt adjustment and a U-notch for fast vertical orientation. The ball head itself is CNC-machined aluminum with a 17.6 lb load capacity, fine-tune damping to prevent sudden drops, dual bubble levels for speedy leveling and indexed base markings for repeatable panoramas. When used together, the monopod and ball head provide a combined load capacity of 30 lb. (13.6 Kg), making this kit a versatile choice for DSLR and mirrorless systems with heavy telephoto lenses.
