Compact when closed at 18.5 inches and extending to 66.9 inches, the 5-section twist-lock leg system provides rapid, secure deployment and stowage. Stability is enhanced by a 1.28-inch maximum tube diameter and a rated support capacity of 26 lb (12 kg). Ergonomic touches include a comfortable foam grip, a safety wrist strap, and an interchangeable rubber foot plus steel spike to maintain traction on a variety of surfaces. The mounting platform accepts both 1/4" and 3/8" threads for broad compatibility; attach the included ball head to gain 360° panning, tilt control and a U-notch for quick vertical framing. The ball head itself features a precision CNC-machined aluminum body, a 17.6 lb load capacity, fine-tune damping to prevent sudden drops, dual bubble levels and indexed base markings for repeatable panoramas. Using the monopod together with the ball head will have a load capacity of 30 lb. (13.6 Kg).
