Critical connection points use CNC-machined aluminum alloy hardware with an anodized finish for added wear and corrosion resistance. The monopod remains highly portable at just 1.1 lb (480g) while delivering a rugged, ultra-rigid platform. Compact travel profile with full extension: the leg assembly folds down to 18.5 inches for easy transport and expands to 66.9 inches to give you elevated perspectives, stable tracking, or support for long-telephoto lenses. Its 5-section twist-lock system allows fast deployment and secure, repeatable positioning on uneven ground or in crowded situations. Engineered stability and load capacity: despite the light weight, the monopod safely supports up to 26 lb (12 kg), suitable for DSLRs and mirrorless bodies fitted with heavy telephoto glass. A 1.28-inch maximum tube diameter contributes to excellent torsional stability. Ergonomic features include a soft foam grip and safety wrist strap; traction is ensured via an interchangeable rubber foot or a steel spike for soft or hard surfaces. Flexible mounting and included ball head: the top platform accepts both 1/4" and 3/8" threads to accommodate a wide range of camera plates and accessories. Attach the included ball head to gain 360° panning, smooth tilt control, and a U-notch for quick vertical shooting orientation. The ball head itself is a precision CNC-machined aluminum unit rated for 17.6 lb, with fine-tune damping to prevent sudden drops, dual bubble levels for rapid leveling, and indexed base markings to help reproduce panoramic shots. When used together, the monopod plus the ball head provide a combined load capacity of 30 lb. (13.6 Kg).
