Built from 10-layer carbon fiber tubing, this professional monopod combines high stiffness and vibration damping with low weight. CNC-machined aluminum-alloy fittings receive an anodized finish for corrosion resistance and long-term durability while keeping the monopod at just 1.1 lb (480g) — an excellent choice for travel or fast-paced run-and-gun work. Compact travel size and tall reach: the leg folds down to 18.5 inches for easy transport and deploys to a maximum height of 66.9 inches. A 5-section twist-lock system lets you extend and secure the sections quickly for overhead angles, long-telephoto support, or steady tracking on uneven ground. Strong, stable support: despite its light weight, the monopod supports up to 26 lb (12 kg). The largest tube measures 1.28 inches in diameter to resist torsion, and handling is made comfortable by a foam grip and safety wrist strap. For traction on different surfaces you get an interchangeable rubber foot plus a steel spike. Flexible mounting and an included professional ball head: the top platform accepts both 1/4" and 3/8" threads to suit a wide range of gear. Attach the supplied ball head to gain 360° panning, smooth tilt control and a U-notch for quick vertical orientation. The ball head itself is CNC-machined from aluminum, rated for 17.6 lb, and features fine-tune damping to prevent sudden drops. Dual bubble levels aid rapid leveling and indexed base markings help with repeatable panoramic shots. When used together, the monopod and ball head provide a combined load capacity of 30 lb. (13.6 Kg).
