The leg packs down to 18.5 inches for transport and extends to a maximum height of 66.9 inches for overhead or long-telephoto shooting. A 5-section twist-lock leg system lets you deploy or collapse the monopod quickly and securely. The largest tube measures 1.28 inches in diameter to provide excellent torsional stability for heavy setups. Rated to support a 26 lb (12 kg) payload, this monopod is suitable for DSLR and mirrorless bodies fitted with substantial telephoto lenses. Comfort and control are addressed with a soft foam grip and a safety wrist strap, while the interchangeable rubber foot and steel spike give reliable traction on a variety of surfaces. The mounting platform accepts both 1/4" and 3/8" threads so it will work with a wide range of camera plates and accessories. An included precision ball head expands functionality with 360° panning, tilt adjustment and a U-notch for fast vertical framing. The ball head is CNC-machined from aluminum, offers fine-tune damping to prevent sudden drops, and carries a 17.6 lb load rating. Built-in dual bubble levels and indexed base markings make quick leveling and repeatable panoramas easy. When the monopod is used together with the supplied ball head the combined load capacity is 30 lb. (13.6 Kg).
