The joints and fittings are CNC-machined from aluminum alloy and finished with anodizing for added durability and corrosion protection, yet the complete unit weighs only 1.1 lb (480g) — ideal for mobile shoots and travel. The monopod compacts to 18.5 inches for easy carrying and extends to 66.9 inches when deployed. Its 5-section twist-lock leg system lets you set up or break down quickly while adapting to uneven ground. Rated to carry up to 26 lb (12 kg), the 1.28-inch maximum tube diameter provides strong torsional stability for DSLR and mirrorless rigs with long lenses. Comfort and control features include a foam grip, safety wrist strap, and a removable rubber foot that can be swapped for a steel spike for better traction on soft terrain. The mounting platform accepts both 1/4" and 3/8" threads so it works with a wide range of camera gear; you can use the monopod alone or attach the supplied ball head. The ball head offers 360° panning, tilt adjustment, and a U-notch for fast vertical framing, and it’s built from precision CNC-machined aluminum with fine-tune damping to prevent sudden drops. Additional head features include dual bubble levels and indexed base markings for repeatable panoramas.
