Rigid 10-layer carbon fiber tubing forms the backbone of this pro-grade monopod, delivering high stiffness and excellent vibration damping. CNC-machined aluminum alloy fittings and an anodized finish increase durability and corrosion resistance while keeping the unit lightweight at just 1.1 lb (480g) for easy transport during run-and-gun or travel shoots. Compact to carry yet tall when deployed, the monopod collapses to 18.5 inches and extends to 66.9 inches, using a 5-section twist-lock leg system for quick, secure setup. Supporting up to 26 lb (12 kg), the 1.28-inch maximum tube diameter provides strong torsional stability for DSLR and mirrorless bodies with long telephoto lenses. Ergonomics and traction are addressed with a comfortable foam grip, a safety wrist strap, and an interchangeable rubber foot plus steel spike for varied terrain. The mounting platform accepts both 1/4" and 3/8" threads to fit a wide range of camera gear; you can use the monopod as a minimal support or add the included ball head for full articulation. The supplied ball head is CNC-machined aluminum with a 17.6 lb load capacity, fine-tune damping to prevent sudden drops, 360° panning and tilt control, a U-notch for rapid vertical orientation, dual bubble levels for quick leveling, and indexed base markings for repeatable panoramas. When the monopod is used together with the ball head, the combined load capacity is 30 lb. (13.6 Kg).
