At only 1.1 lb (480g), it’s lightweight enough for travel or run-and-gun shooting yet rigid enough for demanding use. The 5-section twist-lock leg system collapses to 18.5 inches for compact transport and extends to 66.9 inches to deliver height for overhead, tracking, or long-telephoto work. It supports a 26 lb (12 kg) payload, and the 1.28-inch maximum tube diameter provides excellent torsional stability. Ergonomics and traction are covered by a comfortable foam grip, a safety wrist strap, and an interchangeable rubber foot and steel spike for varied terrain. The mounting platform offers both 1/4" and 3/8" threads for broad compatibility; attach the included ball head to gain 360° panning, tilt control, and a U-notch for quick vertical orientation. The supplied ball head features a precision CNC-machined aluminum body, a 17.6 lb load capacity, fine-tune damping to prevent sudden drops, dual bubble levels, and indexed base markings for repeatable panoramas. Using the monopod together with the ball head will have a load capacity of 30 lb. (13.6 Kg).
