At just 1.1 lb (480g), it’s lightweight enough for travel and run-and-gun shooting yet rugged enough for demanding use. Compact portability meets reach — it collapses to 18.5 inches and extends to 66.9 inches via a 5-section twist-lock leg system for fast, secure setup on uneven ground or in tight spaces. Designed for heavy glass, the monopod supports a 26 lb (12 kg) load while its 1.28-inch maximum tube diameter delivers excellent torsional stability. Comfort and control are provided by a foam grip and safety wrist strap, and traction is assured with the interchangeable rubber foot and steel spike. The mounting platform accepts both 1/4" and 3/8" threads for broad compatibility; use the monopod by itself for a minimal rig or attach the included ball head to add full articulation. The supplied ball head features a precision CNC-machined aluminum body, fine-tune damping to prevent sudden drops, 360° panning and tilt control, a U-notch for quick vertical shots, dual bubble levels, and indexed base markings for repeatable panoramas. The ball head carries 17.6 lb, and when used together the monopod-plus-head combination provides a total load capacity of 30 lb. (13.6 Kg).
