CNC-machined aluminum alloy hardware and an anodized finish increase longevity and corrosion resistance while keeping the total weight to just 1.1 lb (480g) — easy to carry for run-and-gun shoots or travel. Designed for mobility, the monopod folds to 18.5 inches and extends to 66.9 inches using a fast, secure 5-section twist-lock system so you can quickly adapt to uneven ground or crowded venues. Its 1.28-inch maximum tube diameter provides excellent torsional stability and the unit supports a 26 lb (12 kg) payload, making it suitable for DSLR and mirrorless bodies with large telephoto lenses. User comfort and traction are addressed with a foam grip, safety wrist strap, and an interchangeable rubber foot and steel spike. The mounting platform accepts both 1/4" and 3/8" threads for broad accessory compatibility, and you can attach the included ball head for full articulation. The supplied ball head is CNC-machined from aluminum, offers 360° panning, tilt control and a U-notch for quick vertical framing, and includes fine-tune damping to prevent sudden drops. It has dual bubble levels and indexed base markings for repeatable panoramas and carries a 17.6 lb load capacity. When used together, the monopod and ball head provide a combined load capacity of 30 lb. (13.6 Kg).
