Built for demanding photo and video work, this monopod uses 10-layer carbon fiber tubing for outstanding stiffness, vibration resistance and strength. CNC-machined aluminum alloy components with an anodized finish add durability and corrosion protection while keeping the complete unit extremely light at just 1.1 lb (480g). It collapses to 18.5 inches for travel and extends to 66.9 inches when you need height, using a 5-section twist-lock leg system for quick, secure setup. The monopod supports a 26 lb (12 kg) payload and features a 1.28-inch maximum tube diameter to reduce torsional flex with long telephoto setups. Handling is made comfortable by a foam grip and safety wrist strap, and traction is provided by an interchangeable rubber foot or steel spike for varied surfaces. The top platform accepts both 1/4" and 3/8" threads to fit a wide range of gear and workflows. An included precision ball head expands capability with 360° panning, tilt adjustment and a U-notch for fast vertical orientation. The head is CNC-machined aluminum, rated for 17.6 lb load capacity, and equipped with fine-tune damping to avoid sudden drops. Dual bubble levels and indexed base markings make leveling and repeatable panoramas straightforward. Using the monopod together with the ball head will have a load capacity of 30 lb. (13.6 Kg).
