This clutch pressure plate is superior to the original as it is made with ductile iron instead of gray iron, increasing the tensile strength by over 100% and more importantly allowing for a significant yield strenth. Cast iron is not flexible and shatters easily, whereas ductile iron is more flexible and elastic. This pressure plate does not include the bushing or the clamping bolt.
