Premier 1 Supplies Small (12" x 12") Brooder sku-691472000

The Premier 1 Supplies Small (12" x 12") White chick brooder heating plate is Chicken Supplies equipment (sku-691472000; UPC 856502005063). It keeps up to 20 chicks warm by near contact with its warm underside. Set the yellow adjustable legs so the plate almost touches the chicks' backs, then raise it as they grow.

Chicks can move out from under the plate if they get too warm, so leave them room to move. The plate uses 90% less electricity than common heat lamps (22W versus 175 to 250W). Its lower surface temperature, only 125°F, reduces fire risk. It has a 6 ft electrical cord. Hand-wash dust and debris without submerging the plate in water.

It can be paired with a Premier 1 Supplies Chick Nipple Waterer (item 540224WWB on Walmart.com).
