Compatible with all Amcrest WiFi and wired IP cameras, it also offers limited support for third-party brand-compliant IP cameras. Advanced H.265 compression reduces storage needs while preserving UltraHD video quality. The NVR includes intelligent search, playback and backup features — for example, motion detection event search and exact-time search that are accurate to one second. Maximum incoming bandwidth is 80Mbps. Using H.264 it can record 8 cameras at 4K; by switching the default from H.264 to H.265 and setting each camera’s bit rate to 1792, it can record 7 cameras at 4K for optimized performance.
