Bright, compact reference monitor built for pro camera rigs. The Portkeys HS8 features a high-contrast 8-inch 10-bit panel with a 1920*1200 resolution, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and peak brightness up to 1,100nits. It runs a Custom Operating System and supports 3D LUTs for accurate color monitoring. Inputs include 4K HDMI and 3G SDI in/out. Monitoring tools included: Waveform, Histogram, Zebra, Peaking, False Color, Anamorphic image de-squeeze and Audio Meters — all accessible from the HS8’s interface for on-set exposure and focus control. Built to withstand production use, the housing is rugged all-aluminum and the unit weighs only 675g / 1.48 lbs. Power options are flexible: built-in dual NP-F style battery plates plus a DC 7-20V 5.5mm barrel connector for external power (D-Tap cable included). VESA 100 x 100 mounting points accommodate V-Mount / Gold-Mount battery adapters. The monitor also includes a built-in Sony NP-F dummy battery plate with power passthrough (8V/10W) so you can attach and power a wireless video receiver from the back of the HS8.
