Compact vortex-tube thermostat built for sandblasting, welding and other high-temperature work. The clear section is made from polycarbonate resin — do not clean it with organic solvents (for example trichloethyiene, thinner, alcohol, etc.); use dishwashing liquid for cleaning instead. The blue housing is molded from a strong plastic, making the unit lightweight, rugged and easy to transport. This device has no moving parts, eliminates spark risks and causes no wireless/radio frequency interference. There is no residue buildup or internal components to clean. Cooling is instant on/off with simple manual control and no wasted cooling output. Performance: gas flow rate reaches up to 35 SCFM (990 SLPM). At compressed air inputs of 10, 15, 25 and 35 SCFM (280, 420, 700, 990 SLPM) the unit can deliver up to 2500 Btu/H (630 Kcal/H) of refrigeration. Adjust the outlet temperature by turning the manual knob and monitoring the air outlet temperature on the thermometer. With stable inlet pressure and temperature, the vortex tube outlet temperature will remain within ±1°F (±0.6°C).
