The unit plays MP3 audio and accepts media from USB and SD cards, plus offers RCA ports for AV connections. DVD playback is region-free (whole area code DVD — disc is not restricted by the area code). A built-in TV tuner with cable signal interface and accurate channel search lets you preset hundreds of channels and receive wired or wireless television signals (wireless viewing depends on the strength of the local signal).
