Philips DVD Video Player with HDMI output and 1080P upconvert (enhances 480P DVD playback to 1080P). Connections include HDMI, AV Output/ USB Input and USB Media Link so you can plug in a USB drive to play movies, music or photos. The package includes cables and an infrared remote; the USB DVD remote control player combo can also be used to link PCs and peripherals. Screen Fit fills the television picture to full screen at the press of a button. Video and audio are preserved by a 10-bit/108 video DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter) that maintains picture detail for regular and blu ray sources, while a built-in Dolby decoder chip delivers immersive sound. NOTE: This is a standard HDMI DVD player and not a Blu ray DVD player and is therefore unable to play with Bluray discs.
