Pirelli was established in Milan, Italy, in 1872 and makes car, bicycle and motorcycle tires. The source describes it as the exclusive tire provider for the F1 Racing Championship, one of the world's top five tire manufacturers, and a company with customers worldwide.

It attributes the P ZERO line to 100 years of motorsport experience and says it was developed for powerful sports cars, sports coupes and high-performance luxury sedans. The line was initially introduced as original equipment on the Aston Martin DB9, Audi R8, Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, Lamborghini Murcielago, Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT and Mercedes-Benz AMG vehicles.

Its silica and carbon-black tread compound is described as performing when cold and throughout the tire's life. Inside are twin steel belts reinforced with polyamide cord plies, plus nylon and aramid cord intended to control tire-profile deformation. The listing states a standard mileage warranty.
