Kumho Tires is a Korean company headquartered in Gwangji, South Korea, and a subsidiary of the Kumho Asiana Group, parent company of Asiana Airlines. Founded over 50 years ago, Kumho is described as the world's 9th largest tire manufacturer.

It makes replacement and original equipment tires for passenger cars and SUVs, including ultra-high-performance, touring, all-season, all-terrain and mud-terrain tires. The Crugen Premium KL33 was developed as original equipment for the Hyundai Santa Fe Crossover and is now offered for other crossovers, SUVs and pickups. The range includes sizes from 16 to 20 inches and a 60,000-mile warranty.

Its low-profile appearance and large rim diameter are designed to affect the vehicle's appearance. The all-season compound is designed for traction and tread life while reducing rolling resistance. A symmetric variable-pitch tread pattern is intended to reduce road noise.

Independent tread blocks and wide circumferential grooves support handling in town and at highway speeds, as well as wet traction. Twin steel belts are reinforced with spirally wrapped nylon.
