PTM7950 is a phase-change material (PCM) engineered for very high thermal conductivity, supplied in both pad and grease formats. It is formulated to lower thermal resistance at mating surfaces while offering scalable application methods at a competitive cost. The proprietary polymer PCM demonstrates excellent wettability across typical operating temperature ranges, producing extremely low interface resistance. This material is designed for demanding reliability requirements: it passes 150˚C baking for 1000 hours and T/C-B 1000 cycles. PTM7950 maintains a very low thermal impedance (<0.04˚Ccm2/W), making it well suited for highly integrated IC devices such as laptop CPUs and GPUs. Recommended use: apply appropriate clamping pressure and temperature to achieve a minimal bond-line thickness—typically less than 1.5 mil (0.038mm)—for best thermal performance.
