unknown Heavy Metal Music Opeth 12" sku-14429353895

Opeth's The Last Will and Testament is an indie-exclusive, limited-edition coloured 12" vinyl album. It is listed as unknown brand, Heavy Metal Music, SKU sku-14429353895. Band leader Mikael Åkerfeldt describes it as a concept record shaped by his restless, sometimes contradictory relationship with music. He says he picks up some influences and dismisses others, and that his love and dislike of music both feed his writing. He hoped the songs would impress the band, the industry and listeners. He loves the finished record and may even be proud of it. Although he hears familiar elements of Opeth's music, he is surprised by what the band made. He hopes listeners hear coherence and songwriting in it, but favors the strange over the obvious and warns that the record may take time to connect with them.
