OP8802 Fully Discrete Dual Class A Op Amp — Replacement for OPA1612 LME49720 OPA2604 (HiFi)

OP8802 dual operational amplifier constructed from fully discrete components. Internal topology includes 14 pairs of clastic triodes, 4 pairs of triodes, plus 2 pairs of power amplifiers dedicated to current amplification. The two-layer PCB uses identical component arrangements on the upper and lower layers matching the base tree to improve symmetry and component matching. Operates in Class A output with a nominal output of 15MA and a maximum output of 65MA. Sonically this yields a wide, full timbre and a large soundstage with clearly defined levels. Midrange is bright and articulate with substantial density; low frequencies reach deep and remain agile; high frequencies are relaxed with a pronounced sense of air and ambiance.
