Its sensing element uses NTK ceramic material and an integrated heater to reach operating temperature in seconds, allowing quicker closed-loop activation and reducing cold-start emissions.
A protective coating and damage-tolerant housing help shield the ceramic element from silicone and lead poisoning. The porous PTFE filter lets atmospheric oxygen in while keeping water and engine grime out. The sensor is designed to meet OE standards within close tolerances and undergoes a 3-test quality and durability process.
