This CarPlay decoder box connects to the original CD head unit with supplied wiring; it does not replace the display. It retains the factory system while adding wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, MirrorLink, navigation, YouTube and video viewing, TV news, photo display, and Siri and Google "OK" voice control.

It supports the factory reverse camera and parking sensors, aftermarket reverse and 360º cameras, and front-view DVR cameras with CVBS output. Steering-wheel support is limited to the voice-control button, Tel button, and voice-volume "+" and "-" buttons; other steering buttons are unsupported. Long-press the car knob's "menu" button to switch between the factory radio and CarPlay.

Installation requires dashboard removal to access the CD host. Do not cut or damage factory wiring, and test all functions in the vehicle before final mounting.
