Autofocus & Metering: For optical-viewfinder shooting the camera uses the Multi-CAM 3500 II 51-Point AF system, which is sensitive down to -3 EV and offers 15 cross-type points for improved accuracy in low-contrast scenes. In Live View and video modes the 273-Point Hybrid AF with Eye Detection provides wide coverage and reliable subject tracking. Exposure metering is handled by a 180k-Pixel RGB sensor.
