Sensor & Image Engine: The full-frame 24.5MP BSI CMOS sensor offers versatile resolution, quick readout and excellent low-light capability. EXPEED 6 handles image processing and enables expanded sensitivity from ISO 50 to 204800. Autofocus & Metering: When using the optical viewfinder, the Multi-CAM 3500 II 51-point AF module provides rapid phase-detect focusing, operating to -3 EV and featuring 15 cross-type points for improved accuracy. In live view and video modes, a 273-point hybrid AF system with Eye Detection gives comprehensive coverage and reliable subject tracking. Exposure metering is driven by a 180k-pixel RGB sensor.
