For action and continuous shooting the D7500 records at up to 8 fps for sequences reaching 100 frames, and its video capabilities include 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) recording at 30 fps. Note that 4K capture applies a 1.5x crop to the lens focal length; the camera’s DX-based movie mode uses the full sensor width for Full HD 1920 x 1080 and HD 1280 x 720 capture, offering the widest angle and shallower depth-of-field options. Autofocus is handled by the Multi-CAM 3500FX II 51-Point AF System with selectable groupings of 9, 21, or all 51 points.
