It contains 8.8lbs (140 oz) of silicone in 2 bottles, with 70oz of part A and 70oz of part B. Mix the parts at a 1A:1B ratio by weight and stir for at least 5 minutes. The platinum-grade RTV-2 silicone is described as non-toxic, odorless and suitable for food and skin contact.
It can be used to make molds for resin, wax, concrete, soap, candles, candy, chocolate and cake, but it cannot cure with UV resin. At 73.4°F / 23°C, the stated working time is generally 30 minutes and curing takes 3 to 5 hours; heat curing can shorten that time. The 20A silicone has low viscosity and forms flexible, medium-hardness molds suitable for 1-piece flat or 2-piece 3D designs.
The kit also includes 15 pcs wooden sticks, 10 pairs of gloves, 10pc 8oz graduated cups, 2pc tablecloths and 1pc instruction sheet.
