The NETGEAR CM1000 is currently certified for Spectrum and Cox at speeds up to 1Gbps and for Xfinity at speeds up to 800Mbps. It is compatible with the major cable ISPs (for plans up to 1Gbps) but is not compatible with Verizon, AT&T, CenturyLink, DSL providers, DirecTV, DISH or any service that includes bundled voice. This single-unit modem includes a 1 Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting a computer or a separate WiFi router (router sold separately). Use your own wireless router connected to the CM1000 to provide WiFi to your devices. Installing this modem can replace your provider’s rental equipment and save you up to 168/year in rental fees.
