Designed for indoor or outdoor use, the battery-powered Nest Cam is weather resistant and works with several mounting and power accessories so you can place it almost anywhere (4). The camera includes a 3.3-ft (1 m) charge cable and a 7.5W adapter for recharging; an indoor accessory stand with a built-in 10-ft (3 m) power cable is available separately for constant indoor power, and weatherproof 16-ft (5 m) or 33-ft (10 m) cables plus an outdoor power adapter are sold separately for exterior hardwiring. Privacy protections include encrypted video, two-step verification, and enhanced account security through your Google Account; a green LED indicates when the camera is streaming or processing video. Home & Away Routines can automatically turn the camera off when you’re home so no video is streamed or recorded until you leave.
