No rating yet(0 ratings)This Unbranded EV Chargers adapter cord connects a 3-prong NEMA 6-20P plug to a 4-prong NEMA 14-50R connector with a handle. It connects a 20 amp, 250 volt 6-20R outlet to a 50 amp EV charger with a 14-50P plug for level 2 charging, up to a maximum of 20 amp, 250 volts and 5000 watts. It is for EV charging only, including Tesla vehicles, and not for RV use.
The cord has a molded plug, 3C 100% copper wire, flame-retardant and UV-resistant materials, and SJTW 10AWG/3C construction with a double-layer waterproof jacket for outdoor use and resistance to surface oxidation. It is ETL listed. Adjusting the charging rate to no more than 16 A is recommended to limit plug heating or circuit-breaker trips during prolonged charging.
