MusicNomad MN850 sku-5478758446 850022370724 S-File

MusicNomad MN850 Safe Zone S-File, sku-5478758446, is a fret-crowning file in Guitar Accessories. Its channel has no diamond grit at the top of the arch to help prevent overfiling. The file uses 240 diamond grit, a blue silicone grip and an offset shape that provides leverage and clearance over the guitar body.

It works on all fret sizes and is intended for nickel silver fret wire on acoustic guitars, banjos, ukuleles and most electric and bass guitars. Stainless steel fret wire shortens file life, so check your instrument maker’s fret specifications first. The wide channel has a hang hole and two nose lines for spot crowning; position a line at 90 degrees to the fret to file where they intersect.

The maker says the design reduces the learning curve from weeks to hours. UPC 850022370724.
