Two versions are available: 300W for solar input of no more than 300W, and 600W for input of no more than 600W. The 300W version supports output settings listed as 24V/36V/48v/60/72V, while the 600W version supports 48v/60V/72V.
The default for both is 48V; the listed voltage range also includes 24V, 36V and 72V. The original mains charger interface need not be replaced. The recommended solar charging line connects directly to the battery and can operate alongside the original charger without reverse current into the solar controller, even during simultaneous charging.
The controller cannot directly drive a motor, including a direct-drive motor. Keep it away from the vehicle’s motor controller and insulate it to prevent leakage or interference. Connect the solar panel to the controller first, then the battery; check polarity and mount the panel where it has unobstructed exposure.
