Mark the location of the hinge (and thus plate) on the cabinet. You can either mark the top and bottom of the hinge where it meets the cabinet, or just draw a horizontal line where the middle of the hinge is located. 4. Use the template and drill 2 holes... it depends on which type of plate you're using (regular versus inline versus others), so you'll need to figure out the location of the holes.
