No rating yet(0 ratings)Motrin PM coated caplets are Unisex Pain Relief for occasional sleeplessness associated with minor aches and pains. This 3 Pack contains 80 caplets per pack. Model 300450563804; sku-511299635; UPC 191565005675. Each caplet contains diphenhydramine citrate 38 mg, a nighttime sleep aid, and ibuprofen 200 mg, an NSAID pain reliever. The product helps you fall asleep and stay asleep.
Inactive ingredients are colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, glyceryl behenate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, pregelatinized starch, talc and titanium dioxide. Read all directions and warnings before use, and keep the carton.
Do not take more than directed or for longer than 10 days unless a doctor directs you to. Adults and children 12 years and over: take 2 caplets at bedtime, with no more than 2 caplets in 24 hours. Store at 20 to 25 degrees C (68 to 77 degrees F); avoid excessive heat above 40 degrees C (104 degrees F). Ibuprofen may cause a severe allergic reaction, especially in people allergic to aspirin.
Symptoms include hives, facial swelling, asthma or wheezing, shock, skin reddening, rash and blisters. Stop use and seek medical help right away if an allergic reaction occurs. This NSAID may also cause severe stomach bleeding.
Risk is higher if you are age 60 or older; have had stomach ulcers or bleeding problems; take an anticoagulant, steroid or another prescription or nonprescription NSAID, including aspirin, ibuprofen or naproxen; have 3 or more alcoholic drinks daily while using it; or take more than directed or use it longer than directed.
Do not use if you have ever had an allergic reaction to another pain reliever or fever reducer, cannot allow time for a full night's sleep, are under 12, are right before or after heart surgery, use another diphenhydramine product even on the skin, or have sleeplessness without pain.
Ask a doctor before use if the stomach bleeding warning applies to you; you have a history of stomach problems such as heartburn, high blood pressure, heart disease, liver cirrhosis, kidney disease, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, asthma, glaucoma or trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate; or you take a diuretic.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you take sedatives, tranquilizers, another sleep aid, another antihistamine or any other drug; are under a doctor's care for a continuing illness; or take aspirin for heart attack or stroke, because ibuprofen may reduce aspirin's benefit. Drowsiness will occur. Avoid alcohol and do not drive or operate machinery.
Take with food or milk if stomach upset occurs. Taking more than directed or using it longer than directed may increase the risk of heart attack or stroke. Stop use and ask a doctor if you feel faint, vomit blood, have bloody or black stools or persistent stomach pain; if sleeplessness lasts more than 2 weeks, which may indicate a serious underlying illness; if the painful area has redness or swelling; or if new symptoms occur.
If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Do not use ibuprofen in the last 3 months of pregnancy unless a doctor specifically directs you to, because it may cause problems.
