Made in the U.S.A., this molded carbon-fiber and Kevlar composite plate fits closely around the engine. It protects the side and center engine cases, water pump and frame from rocks, debris and mud buildup.
Compared with aluminum, the composite is lighter, stronger, absorbs more sound and vibration, and can spring back after a hard hit. Kevlar gives it greater tensile strength and a longer fatigue life than aluminum. Mounting hardware is included.
Fitment: 2003 Kawasaki KLX400R; 2000-2004 Suzuki DRZ400; 2000-2007 Suzuki DRZ400E; 2000-2009 and 2011-2016 Suzuki DRZ400S; 2005-2009 and 2013-2016 Suzuki DRZ400SM.
